About the KDFGC

The Kelowna and District Fish and Game Club (KDFGC) is one of the oldest clubs in British Columbia having been established in 1904. The club is situated on forty acres in South Kelowna and has a long history of supporting wildlife and the community.

The Club is a member of the British Columbia Wildlife Federation and is actively involved in wildlife conservation and habitat restoration with various groups, agencies, and levels of government.  Many of our members are also involved with conservation groups such as Ducks Unlimited, Delta Waterfowl, National Wild Turkey Federation, Wild Sheep Society of B.C. and the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.

The Club also supports a variety of sport shooting programs.  We encourage family participation and have a well organized program for junior shooters plus well established Archery, Trap, IPSC (practical pistol), and ISSF (precision pistol) clubs.  On its property the Club has an indoor range and various archery ranges, a trap range, pistol ranges, and rifle ranges for 25, 50, 100 and 200-yard shooting.  There are is also a commercial range used by local law enforcement agencies.  All ranges are federally inspected and approved.

Our clubhouse features a hall with full kitchen facilities and a seating capacity for up to 165 people. When not busy with Club activities, the hall is available to the public for weddings and other events.

Feel free to Contact Us to view the facilities or drop in for our New Member Orientation most Saturdays starting at the Club Office at 10 AM.

We are always welcoming new members!
