YOUTH CORE PROGRAM (Jan 25, Feb 1, 8, 15, 22 Mar 1)

This CONSERVATION and OUTDOOR RECREATION EDUCATION program is a six week program on Sunday afternoons from January 25th to March 1st, 2026. It is for 12 to 17 year olds to obtain their BC Hunting License with the completion of the both written hunting and a practical firearms examinations.  This "in class" Sunday afternoon course is in the Club Hall on Casorso Road from 2:30 to 5:45 pm, and it has both homework and hands on aspects related to Hunting and Firearms safety. The curriculum follows the current edition of the BCWF CORE manual. This age appropriate program is for success, interest and engagement. The instructor, Ken Deadmarsh, is a former educator and current Outdoor retailer and club member, experienced in this course delivery. There is a minimum course registration attendance of 8 for this program. The fee includes the CORE manual, other materials, examination fee, instruction, nonworking firearms and facilities use for $225 plus GST ($236.25).
